Arunachal Pradesh-the land of rising Sun !. Rich in natural beauty. Full of mountains and hillocks. Mind blowing scenery and what not……… A vast state about 83000 square kilometre of land area and the least populated [approximately 13,000,00 people]. The state experiences a mixed climate varying from extreme hot to extreme cold. Itanagar is the capital of this state. ‘Ita’ in Hindi means ‘brick’. As such we can see the relics of an old construction near the state secretariat. The people speak different languages Hindi, English, Assamese and the local languages.
Ziro [ not zero] is the headquarters of the district Lower Subansiri. It is a land locked place with a population of more than two lack including natives and outsiders. Ziro is mainly occupied by a tribe named “Apatani.” They are a people who give utmost importance to education. There are many highly educated people in this place which include doctors , engineers, advocates, teachers and civil servants.
Love Dale Residential School [L.D.R.S] is situated at the entrance of this township. Away from all disturbances and pollutions of the town.
The school was started in 2006 by Shri. Landi Tagia Tak i[ A.E , P.W.D] and his wife Smt. Ladi Yapa. Shri Sunny Kuriakose is the principal of this school since its inception in 2006. Shri. Albin Watz is the vice-principal of the school who has been serving the same period. The school is having classes from L.K.G to Class VIII
The school is run by “Love Dale Welfare Society And Rehabilitation Council, Ziro”, with Smt. Landi Yapa as its Chair person. L.D.R.S is a co-educational residential school having an enrolment of about 400 students. The school caters to the needs of the students both in curricular and co-curricular activities.
